Achieve Grant
The Achieve Grant is a $2,500 scholarship for continuing education. Girls and women with specific career goals and a path for achieving them should apply for an Achieve Grant. The grant is designed for girls and women who have encountered significant financial barriers in pursuing their education after high school.
Preference will be given to girls and women who fall into one or more of the following categories:
- First generation college students
- Non-traditional students/adult learners – 25 years or older
- Women who seek a diploma certification for high demand job functions in Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben and/or Yates counties at a technical school, college or university
- Girls and women who have overcome a significant challenge in their lives
Timing:
Application deadline: Annually each March 1
Notification: Annually each June
