The Fund for Women of the Southern Tier, Inc. (FFW) 2022 Annual Grants Cycle Application Submission is closed.
Each year, FFW awards grants in two main categories: educational grants for girls and women interested in continuing their education beyond high school, and non-profit organization grants for groups that have missions that are compatible with the FFW mission. The deadline for submission each year is March 1.
Though the submission deadline has passed, the work is FFW is just beginning. Each year, FFW calls together a committee of dedicated women to review each grant application in conjunction with the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes, Inc. Each application goes through the same rigorous evaluation process to determine which applications will result in a grant award. It is this committee of volunteers that will then make recommendations back to the FFW Board on how best to disperse the available grant funds. Once approved, grants will be announced and awarded in the May/June time frame.
This Annual Grants Cycle is only possible through the generosity and support of our friends and donors. The FFW Endowment allows FFW to award grants to individuals and non-profits through this annual process each year. Designed as a dependable and sustainable funding stream, the FFW Endowment will continue to grant to deserving individuals and non-profits within our four-county region for years and years to come.
